Debbie O'Donnell is a New York-based photographer specializing in travel, lifestyle, fashion and people.
Born in Western Australia, Debbie developed her sense of adventure and love of discovery while travelling around Australia and beyond. Most vacations were spent in a car driving across the Nullabor to the east coast, exploring back roads on the west coast, and occasionally getting bogged in creeks.
Debbie's passion for photography was sparked after looking at a black and white fiber print fresh from the darkroom. It was one of those 'aha' moments when she knew photography was the perfect vehicle to channel her creativity.
An accomplished photographer, her editorial and commercial work has appeared in various magazines such as Australian Style, Passion, Australian Cosmopiltan, Dolly, Oyster, Gentlemen's Option and the LA Times Magazine. Her exhibition work includes Sub Culture - A Photographic Perspective national tour, 'challenging some of Australia's and New Zealand's leading photographers to create their own vision of sub culture.'
Debbie's experience as a photographer spans over twenty years, and her travels have taken her around the world. She shoots both film and digital, creating dynamic images that combine commercial and fine art aesthetics.
